Candace Burch, Founder
Bio: Candace is a Hormone Health Educator with a Masters in Health Education and over 30 years of experience in the field. In 2017, she founded ‘Your Hormone Balance’ as a consulting practice, and was later joined by her younger daughter, Ryan Burch to expand YHB's reach to women and men around the world! Candace’s background includes working as a health editor, writer and investigative journalist in London, leading educational patient and provider initiatives for ZRT Hormone Laboratory (as their Director of Education for 12+ years), as well as spearheading "Body in Balance," a hormone testing and rebalancing weight loss program at Metabolic Research Center (a nationwide weight loss company). She also hosts the Women Talking Frankly Podcast with her friend N.P., Kyle McAvoy.

Bio: Candace is a Hormone Health Educator with a Masters degree in Health Education and over 25 years experience in the field. She founded Your Hormone Balance in 2017, and was soon after joined by her daughter, Ryan Burch (co-founder/CEO). She also co-hosts the Women Talking Frankly Podcast with Kyle McAvoy, NP.
In the early 2000s, Candace was mentored and trained in hormone testing, evaluation and rebalancing by David Zava (Ph.D., founder of ZRT Laboratory), a prominent biochemist and breast cancer researcher.
Over the next decade, she worked alongside Dr Zava and John Lee, M.D. (authors: “What Your Doctor Might Not Tell You About Breast Cancer”) and collaborated with pioneering researchers and physicians like Dr. Kenna Stephenson, M.D. (lead researcher of the CHOIICE study), CW Randolph, OB-GYN (author: “From Hormone Hell to Hormone Well”), James Wilson, N.D., (author: Adrenal Fatigue, the 21st Century Stress Syndrome), as well as compounding pharmacists, functional medicine doctors and prominent thought leaders. Together, they worked to advance education and access to hormone testing, and the bioidentical hormone restoration (BHRT) model of care.
Before starting her private consulting practice, candace helped develop the first hormone testing and rebalancing weight loss program (at Metabolic Research Center).
